In a thrilling match that lasted two hours and six minutes, Hurkacz secured a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(8) victory. He showcased his impeccable skills by delivering 21 aces, winning 81 percent of his first serve points, and hitting a total of 44 winners.

This win marks Hurkacz’s seventh title as a professional tennis player and propels him to the No. 11 ranking in the world.

Rublev, who had high hopes of claiming his second Masters 1000 title of the season, had defeated Tommy Paul and Grigor Dimitrov earlier in the tournament. Despite the loss, the 25-year-old Russian will climb to the No. 5 spot in the global rankings on Monday.
