
Sportradar has been chosen by Tennis Channel to power its new direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming platform. The platform, set to launch in early 2024, will offer tennis fans in the US access to Tennis Channel’s 24/7 linear-channel, as well as live and on-demand matches and original programming. Sportradar will develop the service with a focus on creating a seamless, user-friendly experience, incorporating dynamic data integrations and various features. Utilizing its OTT solution, Sportradar will manage the end-to-end workflow, including UX design, development of connected TV apps, video encoding, and technical integration. The platform will also include MVPD integration for authenticated cable customers and dynamic advertising integration for effective monetization. Sportradar has worked with Tennis Channel since 2019 as their global data partner and provider of their international OTT platform. This partnership further strengthens Sportradar’s position as a leader in the tennis industry.
