Tennis Channel to Show David Cup Finals Group Stage September 12-17

Tennis Channel has announced that it will be broadcasting the Davis Cup Finals Group Stage from September 12-17. The event will feature 16 national teams competing in four European cities for a chance to qualify for the Davis Cup Finals in November. The United States team, led by Frances Tiafoe and Rajeev Ram, will be playing against Croatia, Netherlands, and Finland in Split, Croatia.

The Davis Cup has been played since 1900 and the United States holds the record for the most titles won, with 32 victories. Tennis Channel’s coverage of the event will begin at 8 a.m. ET and all three of the US team’s matches this week will start at 9 a.m. ET. The matches will be aired on Tennis Channel.

Frances Tiafoe, ranked No. 11 in the world, will be representing the United States alongside Tommy Paul and Mackenzie McDonald. On the doubles side, Rajeev Ram, ranked No. 5, will be partnering with Austin Krajicek, who holds the No. 1 ranking in men’s doubles. The team is captained by Bob Bryan, who, along with his brother Mike, is considered one of the greatest doubles teams of all time.

Other top-ranked players competing in the Davis Cup Finals Group Stage include Holger Rune, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Alexander Zverev. The event will take place in four groups, with matches being held in Bologna, Italy; Manchester, England; Split, Croatia; and Valencia, Spain.
