In Tuesday’s action at the Rolex Paris Masters, German Alexander Zverev kept his chances alive to reach the ATP Finals in Turin as he defeated Marton Fucsovics 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.
Zverev needed two hours and 38 minutes to advance and will now face local favorite Ugo Humbert in the next round.
In another match, No. 11 seed Hubert Hurkacz continued his impressive performance on the Fall Tour by beating Sebastian Korda 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-3.
Recent Swiss Indoors champion Felix Auger-Aliassime won in straight sets against Jan-Lennard Struff, and Daniel Altmaier advanced to the next round after No. 9 seed Taylor Fritz withdrew from the event due to an abdominal injury.
